WebE-series is more consumer based. T490 has 1 soldered RAM, 1 slot, E495 has 2 slots T490 has thunderbolt, E495 does not E495 has better graphics and thermal performance (I read on notebookcheck.netreviews) T490 should have a brighter screen. E495 has a slightly smaller battery but may consume less power??? T490 is slightly lighter. WebE495 Yup, the T495 I belive is suppose have better build quality (in terms of materials), PRO cpu features like wake-on-LAN, and a back-lit keyboard.
